Conform Artist/Coordinator
Conform Artist / Coordinator (Full Time in Copenhagen)
Reports to: Color Producer & Conform Supervisor
Department: Color / Post Production
On-site Position in our Copenhagen Offices
Role Overview
We are looking for a Conform Artist/Coordinator to join our color department and support both the technical and operational side of our conform workflow.
This hybrid role combines hands-on conform and preparation work with day-to-day conform coordination, scheduling, and direct communication across projects, with clients, producers, colorists, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate has experience with editorial, online, conform, or technical post-production workflows, and is comfortable managing projects with direct communication, in a structured and service-minded way. You do not need to be a Baselight expert from day one, but you should have a strong technical foundation, good problem-solving skills, and the motivation to learn our Baselight systems and color pipeline quickly.
The role works closely with the Conform Supervisor, who oversees the overall department workflow, priorities, and technical sign-offs.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare projects for color grading; conform, timeline checks, media management, troubleshooting, and project setup.
● Support colorists by ensuring projects and timelines are technically ready ahead of sessions.
● Assist with Baselight setup, media linking, versioning, and exports, and other color assist tasks.
● Coordinate color prep and delivery schedules, project updates, and delivery timelines.
● Manage day-to-day conform tasks together with the Conform Supervisor using shared internal planning tools and workflows.
● Communicate clearly and professionally with clients about timings and technical requirements.
● Track deadlines and incoming materials; flagging missing assets, technical issues, or workflow and scope risks.
● Liaise between producers, colorists, editors, VFX, sound, and delivery teams.
● Help maintain a smooth and organized color workflow from project handover through final delivery.
● Support QC, version tracking, archive preparation, and final deliverables where needed.
Required Skills and Experience
● Experience in conform, online, assistant editing, post production, or a similar technical workflow role.
● Good understanding of post production workflows, file formats, codecs, frame rates, EDL/XML/AAF workflows, and media management.
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Detail-oriented with a strong eye for technical accuracy.
● Comfortable learning new software and systems.
● Interest in developing deeper knowledge of Baselight and color workflows.
Nice to Have
● Experience with Baselight, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Premiere, or similar post production tools.
● Previous experience in a color, finishing, online, or commercial post environment.
● Knowledge of delivery specs, QC processes, and versioning workflows.
● Experience supporting client-facing post workflows or delivery coordination.
Personal Profile
We are looking for someone who is technically curious, structured, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
The right person enjoys supporting creative teams, solving workflow problems, and helping projects run smoothly from prep through delivery.
You should be confident enough to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, while also being hands-on and technically capable of carrying out conform, prep, and delivery work day-to-day.
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Application deadline is 25 May 2026.
